Community Blessing Box

We’re up to something new — a community Blessing Box!

A member of our community, who wishes to remain anonymous, built this Blessing Box and donated it to us to place in East Kinston. We’ll be keeping it stocked with food, drinks, toiletries, masks and hand sanitizer so that members of our neighborhood can drop by and pick up what they may need. The items are completely FREE to anyone, and other community members are encouraged to drop items in there to keep it stocked if they see the Box and are able to.

We’re so excited, it’s a blessing to be a blessing! If you’d like to drop off food or supplies to help keep the box stocked, send us a message or drop them by our Neighborhood Hub at 818 Tower Hill Road, Kinston, NC 28501.

We ask that donations only include nonperishable items in the Blessing Box to prevent the spoiling of food. Items such as canned vegetables, bags of rice, noodles, canned spaghetti, ramen noodles, canned fruit, Vienna sausages, other snack items, toiletries, etc are welcomed.
