Partnership with Peletah Ministries to give away holiday turkeys

Kinston Teens was proud to partner with Peletah Ministries of New Bern, NC and the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina to host a Holiday Turkey Giveaway on Saturday, December 3 at Holloway Recreation Center!

The distribution included fresh turkeys, bags of groceries, baby food and toiletry items given away completely FREE to the community.

“We are extremely excited to partner with Peletah Ministries and the Food Bank to help meet the needs of families in our community,” said Chris Suggs, founder of Kinston Teens.

“This was a great opportunity for our members to get out in the community and serve less fortunate families this Holiday season,” said Dyasia Gooding, the president of the organization’s membership.

Over 150 community members received items in Saturday's give away.

Peletah Ministries is a non-denominational church pastored by Pastors Anthony and Dawn Gibson in New Bern, NC. The Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina provides food and nutrition services for people at risk of hunger in 34 counties in central and eastern North Carolina.
