Interest and Informational Meeting Update

Chris Suggs, organizer of Kinston Teens and a freshman at Kinston High School, details his plans to allow teens the opportunity to collectively discuss change for the city on Tuesday at the Kinston Lenoir Public Library. - Photo by Janet S. Carter/The Free Press The meeting on Tuesday was great!

I am extremely grateful for ALL of the people that came out on Tuesday to Kinston Teens' first Interest and Informational Meeting! I can't even begin to put in words how GREAT it made me feel to have so many people supporting this cause. A lot of networking went on, and a lot of people signed up as members, as well as a lot of people were interested in our advisory committee. It was awesome!

Right now we're in the process of compiling and organizing all of the forms we received the other night, and will be contacting everyone who signed up in the next few days. Additionally, we plan on announcing our first concrete action plan next week.

If you couldn't make it to the meeting on Tuesday night, but would still like to join this program - please click here.

Once again, I'd like to thank everyone who has been supportive of Kinston Teens! This couldn't be possible without you all.
